Victoria Everest, Microsoft

Strategic Account Executive – Telco and Media – Microsoft - Nominated as the top 100 tech leaders in the UK by Financial Times

A Highly motivated and astute business woman, Victoria has appetite for new challenges. She currently manages the Telco relationships at Microsoft, where she is targeted on driving additional revenue.

A visionary results driven Business Woman, Entrepreneur and MA Graduate who’s primary focus is on creating partnership and go above and beyond expectations.  Victoria is passionate about building a community for Black and Ethnic women looking to launch a career in Tech, She sits on the Microsoft Board as Business Lead working alongside a team of women currently working in tech industry to equip the women with the skills they need to build a successful career in the technology industry.

Victoria is also very passionate about innovation and technology in equal measures, taking pride in adding value to her customers and developing not only transformational but sustainable relationships.With a cool head, quick wit and steely creative vision Victoria is actively shaping the way she does business driving froward projects to completion.At the formative age of 19, In December 2007 Victoria set up a telecommunications business from scratch and grew the business from the group up into reputable and successful independent telecoms service provider, offering a range of IT services and consultancy. In 2008 Victoria received commendations from the Lloyds TSB North & West London Business Awards for New Business Start Up. After 3 years of successful trading Victoria had cultivated a customer base of more than 370 Corporate and SME clients. In December 2010 Victoria was approached by a competitor who put a bid in to buy the business. Victoria subsequently decided to take the offer to facilitate completion of a full-time MA in Enterprise and Entrepreneurship (for which she received Distinction and 1st class honors).

Victoria lives in London with her family and has a 8 year old son, and in her spare time she enjoys public speaking at schools and community events to inspire all diverse women into studying STEM related subjects and pursuing careers in STEM based industries.
